IT Today: Essential Technology News (September 2025)
Question of the month: has “IT” become synonymous with “AI”?
If you open any news platform dedicated to digital marketing, programming, design, or any other related field today, you will be greeted by a wave of articles about the latest innovations in AI.
It seems that we have reached a point where “AI” has become an almost mandatory prefix for everything, an agent that promises to revolutionize everything: from “AI-powered marketing”, with campaigns that are personalized granularly, to “AI design” and the creation of visual concepts in seconds. It seems, therefore, that artificial intelligence is no longer just a niche, but a fundamental layer that is reshaping entire industries.
In this effervescent but also quite uniform context, it can sometimes be difficult to discern what is truly relevant from the background noise. In our monthly selection of IT news, we filter only the most interesting news, and the ones that really matter. So, let’s see what September has brought us!

It appears that a single text prompt uses a relatively small amount of energy, equivalent to less than 9 seconds of TV viewing. However, considering the multitude of chatbots in existence and the billions of prompts they receive daily, the global energy footprint of AI is not insignificant.
